I have just found out that my gt gt gran was born Sarah Mogridge in 1827 in Broadclyst.She was the daughter of Abraham Mogridge born c1795 and Sarah Cudmore born 1797 in Broadclyst. If anyone else is researching these names or has any info on this family, I'll be pleased to hear from you .

My Mum's maternal family were all Broadclyst based. I am not sure if it was her grandmother or great grandmother who was widowed and married a John Cudmore, widower of Broadclyst. I think he was a baker.They had a son named John. I will try to look up the info but it is packed away at the moment.

I have just found out that my gt gt gran was born Sarah Mogridge in 1827 in Broadclyst.She was the daughter of Abraham Mogridge born c1795 and Sarah Cudmore born 1797 in Broadclyst. If anyone else is researching these names or has any info on this family, I'll be pleased to hear from you .
I have looked up the info and it turns out that my Gt Granmother, Mary Bull, nee England, was the one who, when she was widowed, married John Cudmore in the December quarter of 1871(5b 77) their son was named George, not John as I first thought. Their address is given as 41 Little Silver Road, Rockbeare, St Thomas, Devon. My cousin found that the GRO has two births recorded for George Cudmore during the third quarter of 1884. I hope this information is useful to you.
