I know that Thomas Sims (1884) was a vicar in the Worcestershire area. Does anyone know how I can start searching to find out which church he was a vicar in Worcestershire? Thanks

This is a Church of England database. It appears to be an ongoing project, so may be worth keeping an eye on.

There is also 'Crockfords Clerical Directory' - if you search using that phrase it will turn up - they have an online database, but you have to pay to use it.

The published version is available in many large libraries

Is 1884 the date of birth or the date when you know he was a clergyman?

Directories usually record who is the incumbent for each parish. Some are available and searchable online

Directories can also be purchased on CD via www.parishchest.com (http://www.parishchest.com) - it can be verfy useful to have a copy available for future reference.
