Hii All:
I'm a newbie to this site. I've researched my Williams Family for about 35 years now. When I started, I only knew my Grandfather's name and one Uncle. Now, I am back to my progenitor to the U.S. - Ambrose Williams b. 1725-35 who was either from England or Wales.
Ambrose Williams b. 1725-30 married Mary Moor/e probably in England.
We are all emigrants in the US, so I have a question, "When you are doing research in the United Kingdom and you can't find a known family ancestor, is there some where you go, first, to check and see if he/she immigrated elsewhere? I thought the answer might help me as well as other doing research.
OK, back to Ambrose Williams. I've found an Ambrose Williams that might be him but I will post more later with correct details on him.
Glad you're out there and hope to hear from other researchers.
