I have a photograph framed by Scottish Carver & Guilder John Wilson of Edinburgh.
It shows what I believe are a company of men from the Imperial Yeomanry. Probably prior to their deployment to South Africa 1900/1.
The rifles are Lee-Enfield Mk 1, they are wearing Slouch Hats, old style bandoliers from left to right, puttees and maybe spurs. What I don't know is who they are. The only clue is the uniform (probably Imperial Yeomanry), the framing in Scotland, the photo turning up in the North East of England and the building. Any help would be appreciated.
