my family is thought to have a gypsy link, through henry perkins born 1830 england.He travelled around scotland having kids in lanark and lived at west wynde dalkeith he was a brush maker journeyman, i know through research though ,that brushmakers travelled from pan shop to pan shop looking for work, he eventually ended up in newcastle, so this is confusing me whether he was living a traveller lifestyle and making brushes on the road and selling them or if he lived in a house , my family do have dark skin and appear mediterranean, in fact my nephew has a birth mark which puzzles doctors as only afro caribbean or mediterranean people have that type of mark.thanks for any help ....
