Is there some kind person who could look up the death/burial on Alderney of John Lake (b. c1805 in Devon) and that of his wife Mary, nee Bray (b. c1806 in Devon)? In the 1851 census, they were living in Braye, St Anne, but they don't appear on the 1861 census and it seems likely that they had died.
