Hi - I have been researching my family tree for almost a year. For the most part I have used the census returns to track back. This has given lots of names - I have also been able to confirm to marriages dates of birth etc - but I haven't much more than bare facts. What I want to do is find out a bit more detail about ancestors - trouble is my family has several different areas of origin - my father's ancestors are from West Yorkshire and Lancashire, my mother's are from Hampshire/Berkshire and I am in Lincolnshire!

I want to know what life was like for them - get a better picture of what has gone before.
