I have this little piece of Information below as word of mouth I can find no mention of this ship "Ninivea" or of Robert being a captain has anyone herd of this ship before or the falls of gary?

Scot - Captain Robert Broadfoot. His ships included the “Ninivea” (wrecked but saved) and the Falls of Garry, which later became a British Navy training ship, which was probably wrecked in the English Channel. Grandmother (Marjorie Gibson) travelled to the USA on the Falls of Garry in 1902 when she was 8 years old on a holiday.

Have you tried Google? A search for "Falls of Garry" (with the quote marks) found lots of information, including a picture.
A search for "Captain Robert Broadfoot" found one who died in the 1840s, so maybe not the right one. Several results from a search for "Captain Broadfoot" which might be worth investigation.
No results for "Ninivea" so are you sure you are spelling it correctly? Try
http://www.reach.net/~sc001198/ShipsN.htm and see if you can find the right ship there.

"Falls of Garry" see http://www.bruzelius.info/Nautica/ships/Fourmast_ships/Falls_of_Garry(1886).html

Appears to be a postcard of it on ebay

Also found this amongst extracts from a Wigtonshire paper posted on a Rootsweb list.

BROADFOOT, Captain Robert - D5/8/1843 - At China, on the 5th August last,
very much respectd, and sincerely regretted by everyone who knew him,
Captain Robert Broadfoot, of the ship "Davenport" of Liverpool and youngest
son of the late John Broadfoot, Esq., Gatehouse-of Fleet.

Is this your Robert or an earlier generation? What period are we looking at for the Ninivea?

Actually this led me to a website of death ntoices from the Wigtonshire Free Press and there are quite a lot of Broadfoots listed, including another mariner.

Suggest it's the SS Nineveh you are looking for. Lots of info if you Google.

It seems there was a great seagoing tradition amongst the Broadfoots in Wigtownshire. David Broadfoot, born Stranraer, won the George Cross and was in the Merchant Navy
