Yes, that one! Does anyone know of good sources about WWP, preferably in English? The only biography I have found is by Gomer M Roberts, is long out of print and in Welsh. All the rest seems to be mainly literary criticism (eg Glyn Tegai Hughes). I am looking for more on general family and personal history. In particular, I would like to check whether a Watkin Williams, born about 1760, could be related to WWP.

Hi John

Have you tried the Dictionary of Welsh Biography (in English) which is online - use Google to find it. You can search either for a name as one who is listed or for a name anywhere in the text. I have found it very useful - it gives lots of links to other people and dates etc.

Thanks Tony. If that's the one run by the National Library of Wales, yes, I have seen it. Unfortunately it's a bit 'thin' on William Williams, although it does mention some of his family (not the one I think I'm interested in!)
