A William Fitzgerald Stretton born Oct - Dec Plomesgate Sax Suffolk UK in 1843.
This came from the ship's records of the Stretton family on board the "St Vincent" arriving in Sydney Australia in 1849.
William is one of the children of James Stretton (1812) of Killorglan, Co. Kerry, Ireland and Mary Ann Fitzgerald (1828) of Limerick, Ireland.
James Stretton was a Gardener and apparently moved to the UK before sailing to Australia. Another son Richard Alexander was born 1848 London, Middlesex, UK. ?
Any info on the Plomesgate, Sax, Suffolk, town/place and info re Stretton family will be welcome.
