My research interests in Buxton trace back to Andrew LOW who lived in the last quarter of the 17th century, I am descended from his son John (b1695), through, William (1720-1802) to Joseph (b1755 who married Hannah CROME) and then James (1783-1869 who married Jemima MEDLER).
I am trying to do three main things:
1) trace ancestry of Andrew LOW, (he was possibly the son of John) hoepfully back to the LOW / LOWE family shown as living in Lammas at the start of teh 17th century
2) trace descendent sibling lines, in particular:
Joseph bc1663-ish, Robert b1667, Rober b1699, John b1717, Robert b1725 - and - Joseph (1779-1853), samuel (b1781), Charles (1792-1869) and Samuel (b1816)
3) try to show a connection to the LOW / LOWE family of Sloley, Smallburgh and Worstead
I'd be pleased to hear from anyone who feels there may be a connection.
