Hello,
I hope it isn't too cheeky to ask, if someone has a spare few minutes at NRO, to look up a Will for me. A lady in New Zealand has emailed me saying she is descended from a common ancestor and it would appear that the Will may be the piece of first hand evidence we require to prove or disprove our theory.
The Will is question is for Sarah Clarke of Great Witchingham, widow of Robert Clarke, who died 2nd February 1828 aged 60 years.
I believe(d) this lady to have been childless as her marriage lasted less than two full years (her husband died young); the lady in NZ claims she is descended from one of Sarah Clarke's three children...The Will should name Sarah's closest family.
If anybody is able to help, I would be most grateful. Even the provision of a reference number so I can secure a copy from NRO would be a great help. Thanks in advance.
