What I have on my Press family is as follows:
John Press b.abt 1755 married Ann Seed about 1777. Their children are Vere b.1779 in Down, George b.1781 in Antrim, Michael b. 1782 in Down, William b. 1785 in Down, Ann b.1787 in Down, Thomas b.?, and Catherine b.?.
George Press, the son of John and Ann, married Anne Jane Seeds about 1810. Their children are Vere b.1820 in Down, John b.1822 in Down, Anne b.1827 in Down, William b.1836 in Down, and James b.1833 in Down.
William Press, the son of George and Anne, relocated to America in the 1850s.
I’m looking to correspond with anyone else that is researching this line.
