In 1881 the family lived at New Hall Farm, Beckton Road, West Ham and in 1901 they were at Handley House, Beckton Road, West Ham - I'd love to complete the 1891 link

Hello Mary,
My great grandparents were George John Walter Handley and Hannah Louisa Bruckin. If you are a descendant then you must be a distant cousin. My grandfather was George Thomas Handley. I have a limited amount of knowledge of the family.
They are on the 1991 Census - the address is given as 2 Beckton Road, which to my knowledge is the same place as the previous two censuses. He had a new house built at the Beckton farm (New Hall) and called it Handley House. The farm was sold up at the beginning of the 1st World War.
