The only Nicholl family in 1851, that I can see in that area is;
6 Shrubbery Terrace
Ann W 57 Annuitant Sheerness
Edward 31 son U Chemist Sheerness
George 26 son U Journeyman Carpenter Sheerness
Annie 15 dau scholar Gravesend
Shrubbery Terrace is near the bottom of Windmill Hill.....quite a small complex of roads.
There is however, a place called "The South Hill Bank", but, that is more in Parrock Street.
Hope this is of some help
Best wishes...... Iris :)

Peter, if this family Iris found is the one you are looking for, can you email me (address on profile) as I may have some more information for you regarding Edward & George's father.

Hi Iris and Glenys
I'm not sure if this family is related to "my" George Nicholl, but many Thanks to both of you for your help.
Cheers
Peter
