Need help with David Lewis

Can you please help me find David Lewis born 1874 in Wales he emigrated to Caledonia, Columbia, Wisconsin, USA in 1887,with his family he died in 1949 in Caledonia, but I can not find him in any census only the 1900 census and he is with his mother Ellen and sister Margaret, father William died in 1891. David is a farmer and that is all I have, I would be ever so greatful for any help you can give me.

Had a look around and found in 1881 census, for Llanwrin RG11 5478/145 page1-

William LEWIS Head M Male 48 Llanwrin, Montgomery, Wales Farmer of 120 Acres Employing 2 Laborers And 1 Boy
Ellinor LEWIS Wife M Female 42 Cemes, Montgomery, Wales Farmers Wife
David LEWIS Son Male 7 Llanwrin, Montgomery, Wales
Margaret E. LEWIS Daur Female 4 Llanwrin, Montgomery, Wales
Rowland OWEN Serv U Male 55 Mallwyd, Merioneth, Wales Farm Servant (Indoor)
Robert JONES Serv U Male 16 Pennal, Merioneth, Wales Farm Servant (Indoor)
John EDWARDS Serv Male 13 Llanwrin, Montgomery, Wales Farm Servant (Indoor)

Son, father and daughter names match, but mother slightly different - could be same family though? Occupation of the father would indicate that David may well have followed into the same trade.

Hi Mark
Thankyou for that info, that is the family, it was after that they moved to Wiscosin, I have found his sister margaret in all the census up to 1940, but David has vanished, he dies in 1949 so were was he for 40yrs?

Hi Slewis. Have you looked at the U.S census for David Louis ?

Those American folk wer nit two gid at the ol spilling simtomes.. |laugh1|

I found a few from Wales.
