I am researching my wife's family, MacDonald & have found her grandfather, Donald in The Highland Orphanage, Inverness in the 1891 census, along with his sisters, Catherine, Henrietta, Elizabeth & Joan (or Johanna). They are all recorded as having been born in Dingwall, Ross & Cromarty, but a search of the birth records on Scotlandspeople hasn't come up with any of them. Any clues as to where to look next? On his marriage certificate, Donald gave his father as John MacDonald, coachman & family tradition has his mother as a McKenzie
