I am looking for information on Catherine McCallum abt 1842,Barony, Lanark.

She married William Lindsay in Rothesay, Bute in 1861.

In the 1861 census the most likely looking match for your Catherine [if she had not yet married William] is a 17-year-old domestic servant in the household of Elizabeth Munn, a "proprietress of houses" in Rothesay, Bute. This Catherine McCallum is listed as born in Glasgow. [Reference: ED 19 Page 9 Line 19]

If this is the right Catherine [born about 1844] then the one I gave you in 1851 [born about 1840] is probably the wrong one.
