I have a marriage (1 Aug 1873) of James Mason b Cameron 1853 to Catherine Straiton b? Scoonie 1845. Her parents were Thomas b? 1822 and Barbara Lumsden (from marriage).
There were two children, Mary Barbara Thomasina Mason b May 1875 and Thomas Straiton Mason b 1879, both in Cathrie, Newburn. Catherine died in 1888, and James remarried (6 Nov 1891), a widow Margaret Jeffrey (nee Smart) b Kingsbarns 1859, and had two children, David Jeffrey Mason b 1894 and Margaret Jemima Mason b 1897.
Any info on the Straiton parents or what happened to any of the children?
