This is a long shot but does anyone have any ideas, or indeed if it is possible, to find out what jewish family (Manchester or Blackpool) Frances Roper was in service with circa 1937/38?

Jim I would think your best bet would be to try the Electrol roles for this time, I beleive the British Library hold copies of these
