Elizabeth Britten Born 1833 Moulton Northamptonshire Married Stephen Denton.
Father Believed To Be Samuel Britten Born 1791 Who Married A Lady Called Martha

Would Like Any Information At All Anyone Can Provide On Any Of The Above People, Places, Employment, Names, Dates.

Marriage 1857 dist. Brixworth, Northamptonshjire Elizabeth Britten vol 3b page 218, also listed is Stephen Denton, Mary Britten and George Earl.

1851 census:-

Elizabeth Britten age 18 born Moulton grandaughter
Martha Britten age 67 born Moulton wife
Samuel Britten a 63 born Moulton head

Occupation not clear.

Just started researching my ancestors in this area and would be grateful for any info about Moulton 'Britten's.

Just using the 'free sites' etc I've gone back to my great great great grandfather - Henry Britten b. abt 1809 in Moulton, Northants and married to Martha.
My line comes down via son Samuel b.1847 in Moulton and married to Maria L Welch, who's son Ralph b.1883 in Burton-On-Trent was my grandfather's father. My grandfather is still alive, 92 yrs old but not so good with the 'family details' anymore!! ;)

As far as I know, Moulton was a fairly small village, so I presume most of the Brittens (including 'Elizabeth' from the original post) are all closely related?
