Reseaching my greatgrandmother's family, she married George Simpson 2 May, 1871 their daughter Margaret Alice Simpson is my grandmother, she married James Henry John Friend (marriage date and place unknown) she emigrated to Calgary and gave birth to my mother in 1913. Isabella's father is Ord Armstrong
Richardson born abt 1820 in Wingate, Northumberland, her mother Margaret Chapman Forster born abt 1822 Wallsend, Northumberland her possible father is George Forster born abt 1777 and mother Isabella Lumsdon. I have the record from George Simpson and Isabella Richardson's family bible with birth and death dates and their children. Sarah born 15 Dec 1871, Ord born 19 May 1873,George Charles born 12 March 1875 died 26 March 1875, Margaret Alice born 11 March 1876 died 25 Dec 1935 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Charles born 07 April 1878, and Mary Ann Richardson born 09 Feb 1881. If any of these names come up in your research I would love to here from you. I would love to trace the Richardson line back farther if I can.

Thanks for finding out that information on Ord Armstrong's baptism. I have ordered and received both marriage certificates that you have quoted. I did not see the baptism on the IGI so that will give me an avenue of further research. It has been some time since I posted the message and to be truthful had forgotten about it. I have managed to find all the pertinent censuses for them also.
Again thanks to you both for replying to my quest, it is very much appreciated and now I have another avenue to pursue.
Thanks again

TerriA: Ord Richardson(1820) and Margaret Chapman Forster are my 2nd great grandparents. So John Richardson (185O) is my great granduncle. I hope to start working back on this line this fall as I am working on my line it Kent at the moment. There is deffinately a connection as I have the Agnes Richardson to Philip Renner connection. If you wish to share information let me know. I will be bringing in parish registers to view in a few months to try and sort out Ord's Ancestors and other siblings.
all the best

Thanks for contacting my post. I have the marriage of William Forster to Isabella Chapman as 23 October 1797 in Woodhorn. I have nothing on his parents but have the parentage of Isabella Chapman baptized 25 December 1772 in Woodhorn daughter of William Chapman and Margaret. I have 3 other children of this family being Mary 1775, Margaret 1778 and Elizabeth 1782. All this information from the Woodhorn registers. I would love to fill in the blanks and bring any family of George's forward.

As of the moment I do not have a Bobby Richardson but have not brought all the Richardson line forward to present date. It would seem that he would be connected to this line but I do not have that connection as yet.
