For a long time now I have been trying to find George HAXELL, b' abt. 1823. Summerson?, Suffolk, who married a Sarah. They appear together on the 1851 census for Ipswich, sharing a house with Richard and Elizabeth Scholefield. I believe Sarah may have been Elizabeth's sister, in which case she would have the maiden name Smith, or Mattingly Smith, but this is purely guesswork.
There seem to have been many Haxells in that area of Suffolk, but I can't connect them. I would be so happy for any information that you can give,
Regards,
