I'm told that my HAVILAND forebears were descended from Guernsey, where apparently the DE HAVILLANDs were a significant family (Seigneur at one early point). A branch then moved to Poole and thence to Gloucestershire (and onwards and outwards!). So I don't yet have an individual name but am looking for pointers to anything published about the family. We're talking here about 15c ish, but anything at all about this lot earlier or later would be of interest and gratefully received.
