I am interested in the 'Bells of Bothal', I understand previously researched by George Bell. I am particularly interested in period 1750 to 1871.
Looking traces/origin of gggrandfather John Marshall, b? 1797, m Bothal 1834 to Ann Bell b 1810. John d 1837 Long Benton. Ann (remarried John Davison c. 1844) still alive in 1901 !! Census, with son Thomas in Gateshead.
Looking for their daughter Dorothy b 1837, found Bothal 1861 Census with grandmother Alice Bell (nee Fairley), no trace thereafter.
