If any one has the time could you confirm that these are the same person and you opinions please.
The details I have are
1841 census HO107/1198/12 folio 43 Page 3
William Jenning/Jennings age 15 living with aunt in Old Swinford.
1851 HO 107/2035 folio 256 page 54
D Lenning (if you look at census the ditto has been transcirbed as D)
living with son James Jennings and same aunt in Old Swinford
States he is WIDOWER. Occupation Iron turner
1861 RG9/2065 folio 139 page 24
William Jenny is with son James and wife Sara. Occ- Roll turner.
I have James birth cert which states Father William - Iron turner. Mother Sarah Jennings formerly Barker. William registered the birth in Stourbridge.
Also ?death cert in Stourbridge 1849 age 26 for Sarah Jennnings, wife of William Jennings, Plater.
James' marriage cert states father William occ Roll Turner,
Marriage cert for William Jennings and Sarah Crump 20th August 1860.
William - BATCHELOR - Iron Turner.
Unable to find a marriage for William before and up death in 1849 of Sarah.
Do you think he was married to Sarah Barker OR telling porkies on second marriage if you agree that they are the same man on the three census.
