Looking for information on william taylor (b1861?) who married a maria grinnell from pershore. Have found a maria grinnell living with her grandmother in 1881 census records but not sure if it is really her. Can't seem to find out anything else. Thanks to all that will respond to this post. Rick

Do you have a copy of their marriage cert? What were their Fathers names & any occupations.
Have you found them on later censuses?

I have nothing else on maria except that she lived with her grandma. My father doesn't have alot on his side as his father was a british home child & shipped to canada in 1900. We do not know the reason. As for william (henry) we know that he was from sedgeberrow & his father was john (b1841?) in cradley and his wife may have been betsy?. My grandfather harry taylor was born in 1896 in evesham then shipped to canada at the age of 4 with brother george & sister mary which she returned to england.

On the 1891 census she is now married to William H Taylor (b. 1865 in sedgebarrow)

I can't find any of them on the 1901 census and have looked at deaths from 1896-1901 in Evesham, Worcestershire and there is nothing that could be them.

It is possible that they split-up or one died and the other re-married. Or that William H went to Canada to find a new home and died out there before the family could join him.
