i appear to have come to a dead end in the search at john veale born c1818 at tresmeer married to mary born st gennis c1819, had a son nicholas 1843 at trenegloss.

thanks for the help, my grandfather always regarded himself as cornish as his father was from cornwall ,his dad was the aforementioned john of camelford .once again thanks for any help to one and all

I've found these two of about the right age and geography in the 1841 census. Given the approximate age (and the roundings of the 1841 census) they may be worth a closer look.
