Hello, I'm researching through my maternal line. My grandmother Elizabeth Crockett was born in Caldicot. Her father Edwin was born 1857c in Shirenewton. His father Thomas, born in Newchurch East. I would like to find any other ancestors connected to the Crocketts.

Thank you for that link. Very interesting. I am also looking for any Hoskins, Pritchards or Westalls. All are on my mother's side. They came from in and around Monmouthshire.

hi i have a george crockett in my tree b.1844 newchurch, monmouthshire who married mary and then went to america in 1866 and then returned to wales in the 1870's, does this sound familiar?? maybe a connection??
