Looking for information on my greatgrandfather George Simpson born 1849, Felling, Durham. He was a Bricklayer. Married Isabella Richardson of Newbiggin Northumberland in 1871. First daughter Sarah born Newbiggin the next born in Felling Ord, George Charles, Margaret Alice, and Charles, Mary Ann Richardson born in Newbiggin. From the marriage entry I get George's father as Charles Simpson and he is listed as a Blacksmith. So far I have no leads on him. Any one reseaching Simpsons and the siblings of my grandmother Margaret Alice Simpson let me know. Until I locate the parish registers I am stuck. Nothing on the BMD Index that I could find for george or his father.
