I am trying to make the connection between the Harriet Warren who marries Frederick Field in Wellington, Somerset in 1865 to the Harriet Warren living with an Emma Harris in 1861 census South Molton, both were weavers in a woollen factory. She was living with her grandfather Joseph Warren in 1851 South Molton with brother William and sister Mary. Living with her parents William and Mary Chaffe Shapter in 1841 Buckfastleigh. Her mother must died ca 1847 and the father William comes to America ca 1848/49. He is living in Illinois, marries his second wife and moves to St. Louis. Harriet, her husband Frederick and two small children come to America 1869 and also settle in St. Louis. Could sure use some help in being able to PROVE the two Harriets are the same. Does anybody know about these Woollen factories? Thanks
