Hi,
Does anyone have any records for the Launceston area of Cornwall. I am trying to find the parents of my ancestor John Martin, who according to various census's was born in Launceston about 1806? The only information I have about him is that he married Mary Bray in Launceston in 1832, and died in the union workhouse in 1874,aged 68. His profession was a journeyman shoemaker.
Any ideas as to how I can progress will be gratefully received.
