I am seeking Scrivens but I don't know where to look. Would you know anything about a "William Scrivens" b. 15 Apr 1849 Eng
or
Alfred Charles "AC" Scrivens, his son, b. 27 Sep 1870

The most recent record I have is their ship records showing they came to the United States on the S. S. Egypt and landed here 20 Sep 1886.

Are you aware of the SCRIVENS one-name study run by Patricia Bath?

The Guild of One-Name Studies website is usually worth checking particularly for surnames that aren't too common or frequent. It will certainly be worth touching base with her if you haven't already done so.

The above site is a little confusing. I couldn't figure out how to navigate, or search through it. What exactly is it?
