Hi there

My gr gr grandmother was in a village called Dudson/Dutson in Cornwall in 1851 and says she was born there on another census - I can't find anywhere - does anyone know what village this might be and in what parish so I can look up the IGI?

Thanks

Tink

Cannot find it as listed. I checked both Genuki and Multimap

Here are the Genuki pages for Cornwall. You might want to look through and see if there is any other place that "rings a bell".

TinkiF YOU O TO http://www.old-maps.co.uk/ and put in Dutson you will see it come up on 1888 map, it seems to be small village near Werrington on the Cornwall/Devon boundary

Dutson – St Stephen by Launceston (Symons, 1884)
