for a long time I have been searching for hubbies great grandparents marriage with no luck..........another researcher has looked in records also
now I have Joseph Raphaels birth in 1852 and Louisa Wakemans in 1849 they both came from spitalfields area...........I know Joseph was Jewish but I am not so sure of Louisa............anyway I have Louisa on 1861 census never found Joseph but on 1871 Joseph is found and Louisa's family without her.
I have just been back looking for her family and found Abby Wakeman sister in the household of a Lucy Jacobs age 22 widow with her sons David age4 and Mark age 1................now Lucy could that be a pet name for Louisa??
trouble is I cant find a marriage for a Louisa Wakeman and a ? Jacobs either
