Hi
This could well be the Sarah White you are looking for in 1861.

RG9/1289 Folio 57 Page 32 165 High St. Marlborough
Selina White Head 72 Widow Landed Perprioter Overley Wilts
Sarah White Dau 47 Potterne Wilts
William White son 45 Potterne Wilts

It gives birth place for Sarah as Potterne but she is in Marlborough which is not far from Great Bedwyn.
Cheers Jeremy.

Hi again Hifly

Did you manage to find your Sarah White born 1814.

If not then I found one in 1851 married to Elisha White children
Charles Henry 10
Joshua 8
Thirza 6
Thomas 4
William 2
All in Great Bedwyn marriage 31.1.1839 Great Bedwyn Sarah Champion. Could be Sarah Champion 1815 Trowbridge or 1819 Nunton with Bodenham not sure where that is.

Thanks Jeremy & Irene for both your contributions...|book2|

I'm going to have to put the info to one side as it looks like I don't have enough info as yet ....the only other thing I did manage to find is that she was reportedly born in Wilton, Nr Great Bedwyn according to the 1891 Census entry.

Looks like it may be married name Shelagh - on the reading of the Banns they where both declared as Widowers - Burbage All Saint's Parish, Wiltshire
24/04/1879

So looking back at everyone's contributions to my original lookup request it all seems to fit in...
