Can anyone help here? William immmigrated to NZ in 1875 with the rest of his family. William was around 11 yrs old (have found out a bit more about him) His two siblings died on the voyage out. Betsy was 6yrs, born 1869 and Charles was 3yrs, born 1872.
Williams father was George Cartwright born around 1837. He and his wife Ann (maiden name unknown) where both 38 and from Lincolnshire. William was born in the March quarter of 1864 in the Caistor district Lincolnshire.......and that is all the information I have on the family. Can anyone fill in the gaps for me? I after any information on this family in the UK. The ship they sailed on was the "Collingwood" from Gravesend, London.
