Hi I am researching the surname Wall in Monmouthshire. My ggg grandfather was Alfred Wall married to Ellen Wall. They came from Worcestershire but settled in Gwehelog near Usk sometime after 1881. He was a wood sawyer. They had several children some of them also settled in Wales or were born there: Florence, Agnes, Alfred, Frederick, James, Rosa and Wilmot. I would love to hear from anyone with connections to or knowledge of this family. Regards Wendy

Hi
You may ahlready have this info.
In 1891 Wales Census. The family are still in Gwehelog.
Alfred Head b in Stourport Worcs
Ellen b Whitney herts
Rosa Ellen b Strouport Worcs.
Wilmot John b in Bromyard- Herts.

by 1901 Wilmot was living in St Mary Worcs as a lodger.

In 1903 he married in Worcester an Annie Elsmore.

Does any of that help.?

Thanks Tracy... I have all of this and also Alfred senior aged 20 living in Worcestershire as a servant in 1851. I was very disappointed when I got that information as I was hoping to find him at home with his parents. Thanks again anyway. Wendy
