Has anyone access to the Parish Registers for Smisby?

I am trying to find out anything I can about my GGGF Joseph Hayes (or similar) born apparently in Smisby in the 1790s, possibly 1798.

Unfortunately, I live a long way away and unable to visit.

Many thanks indeed

I don't know if this will be any help to you but from the Phillimores Marriage Registers of Smisby 1720-1812:

15 October 1781 James HAYES married Sarah REDFERN

James is the only HAYES mentioned in the Registers.

Have you tried on-line IGI (Family Search). If you go through Hugh Wallace's site and go to Derbyshire, Smisby, then put Hayes in the surname box, you will find James, Thos and George HEYS, sons of James and Sarah, born in the right time frame - although no Joseph. Also Martha and Ann HASE and William Hayse - also with parents of James and Sarah.
