This is an update on my previous message. I am looking for Alfred Cooper who married Mary Ann Edwards in 1887. Alfred born 1863/64. Mary born 1865/66. They had the following childred. Amy born abt 18898, Margaret (Maggie) born 1891, Alfred born abt 1893, John (my g grandfather) born 1895, Ernest 1899 all born in Darlington. There was a son Arthur who was born in Chorlton, Manchester but I don't know when he was born. He was present at his fathers death in 1933 and Alfred & Mary are buried in Gorton Cemetery, Manchester. Do any of these names appear in anybodies family tree. I am desperate to find a birth certificate and marriage certificate for Alfred and Mary. I cannot find a birth for Alfred at all. I think his parents might not have registered his birth. Daughter Maggie married a Charles Edward Horsfield and they had a son Charles who died in 1940. He is buried with Alfred and Mary. Help please.
