There is this George GRAY at Ayot St Peter which is very close to Datchworth - any use??

George GRAY 55 Ag Lab Born in county yes

The farmer is a Samuel GARRATT, aged 40.

Not much luck with Ann, I'm afraid.

I have George & Ann Gray in my tree. They had a son Thomas in 1821 (not shown in 1841 Census) who was the father of my GG Grandmother.

.. correction - Thomas was shown living a few houses away from George and Ann in 1841.
