I am trying to trace my gr-gr grandfather John Richard Thompson. Know he was born in Ashby Linc c1843. Unable to locate birth records for Glanford Brigg right time frame. Know his father was George Thompson (a shephard according to marriage cert. He married Sarah Richardson b1849 Worlaby in 1867 in Glanford. John worked for railway so moved around a lot their children born in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire.
