My g grandparents were married in the parish of West Derby 6 Dec 1865. He was born in Ashton under Lyne in 1839 & she in Whitehaven in 1847. They had at least 2 children born in Liverpool - Jane Elizabeth in 1872 & Mary Ann in 1873: they were both christened at St Timothy's Liverpool.
Does this family appear on the 1871 Census in Liverpool - in 1881 they were in Cumberland?
