Looking for any info on 2nd Batt, South Staffs Reg during The Great War please.Also service in India and S Africa prior to Great war.
I already have much data 1914-18, including War Diary. My grandfather served continuously in France/Belgium from Aug 1914 (yes, he was an "Old Contemptible) until Army of Occupation in Germany 1919.
Any photos, letters, information, anything at all would be most welcome as i try to piece together the nucleus of a book please.TIA........Best wishes, Ron
