Hi
The Hospital was actually built in 1893 in Manor Court Avenue which is set back from the road. Many of the houses on Manor Court Road still exist although many of the larger properties have been converted into Dental Surgeries Nurseries etc.Even in the 1960's it was still considered to be a desirable residence before the larger houses were converted.
I will check the Library newt time I visit to see whether I can find you a photograph.

Thanks Mich,
It was a distant relative who lived there.
He was Richard Train , he was the manager of a builders yard, he died in 1907, his wife Elizabeth died 1924,they had an adopted son Richard Beaumont
born 1880 Huddersfield ( i beleive my g/fathers brother ) can't find him anywhere, he was at that address in 1901 nothing after that,
Thanks ,
Val.

Hi Val
I think your villas are still standing.I went past them yesterday but I was in a queue of traffic so I could not stop.I will check the name on the villas next time I go that way and get you a photo if I can.

Val i hope you have Broadband !! . Just sent you some nice pics of the trains house in manor court rd . The house is right opposite the abbey where " Nun " eaton got it's name from eaton meaning farm by the water . You'll notice the house numbers have changed from the 1901 census > i was looking at a house my ancestors lived in but i don't know if that was the right house now or not . Luckily yours had the stone still in place with the name on it .
