I am looking for my great grandparent. They lived at Rose Lodge in Dyserth and the Grove Mill in Cwm and had 5 daghters. I believe that John Ellis was a master baker. Janet was born in Dyserth in 1885.

If your Janet E. C. Williams had a sister called Mary Anne Williams who married a Hugh Griffith Jones of Trecastel Farm, then we are related.

Do you have any idea when he was born? I have searched for a baker but none appear in the 1891 and 1901 census for Denbighshire. That might be because he was too young at that time. Janet would only have been 16 in 1901 so they probably weren't married then.

It does not matter, you can reply to old threads because there may well be new members following the same line that pick up the thread that rises back to the top.
