Wondering if someone would be kind enough to look for a listing for a Keenan (or Keenen) in the book "In Search of the Light Brigade". It is believed that a Keenan (Keenen) Charged. My grandmother used to have his Crimean medal with Balaclava Bar but sold it during the Great Depression of the 1930s. I do not know his first name nor which unit he served with. He may have served in India as well. Thanks, Larry Jenkins

KEENAN [Private William]
born c. 1831
Enlisted: 1849
Slightly wounded in the Charge
To Scutari: 26 Oct 1854
To England: early in 1855
Medal: Crimea (A.B.S.)
Appeared before Queen Victoria at Brompton Barracks 3rd March 1855 with "Fracture of Right Leg, For Discharge."

Flipping back (the book is by regiment) this chap was in the 4th Light Dragoons. I don't see any other Keenans or Keenens among the enlisted men. (Officers take more looking, being listed by rank rather than surname.)
