Hello, I'm looking for any information on my great-great grandfather who came from Drumshanbo in County Leitrim. He was born around 1795 (ish). His name was Patrick Cowan. He married an Anne Coffyn(?) before they emigrated to Ottawa, Canada. I was wondering if there would be any church records surviving which could give his baptism/birth/marriage dates/details? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
