Obituary in Chelmsford

Would it at all be possible to ask for a look up at the Chelmsford library? I am looking for my great uncle's death. Just found tonight that he passed away in the March quarter of 1961 in Chelmsford. His name was Maurice Mallett ,age 71 at the time. He was my grandfather's only brother. My grandparents were the only members of their families to come to Canada in approximately 1910. No other family members came to visit that I ever heard of. Hoping to find more family in an obituary. I'm sending for his death certificate tonight.
