I've got a guy here, who is a "farmer of 135 acres arable employing three men and one girl".

I wondered if this is any kind of substantial landholding? Forgive my ignorance:o!

The farm is in Aberdeenshire in 1881.

Even today 135 acres would be a fairly big farm in some places

One acre is about 4047 sq metres...or in old money 43,560 sq feet;) .
